Marnin Weinreb focuses on practical solutions and litigation strategies for his clients, implementing 28-plus years of experience as a civil litigator. He tailors the handling of each matter for his client’s specific situation, from aggressive litigation to compromised solutions. 

Marnin founded Weinreb Law Group in 2017.  After working at large law firms the first eight years of his career (e.g., Adams Duque & Hazeltine, and Luce Forward Hamilton & Scripps), he founded the law firms of Waxler, Carner, Weinreb & Brodsky, LLP, in April 2000, and Blady Weinreb Law Group, LLP, in February 2009, prior to opening Weinreb Law Group.

Marnin practices in the areas of:

Insurance Coverage: Provides coverage advice and opinions, and handles rescission matters, bad faith actions, and declaratory relief actions with regard to professional liability (lawyers, agents, and brokers), general liability, and automobile insurance. He acts as coverage counsel for numerous insurance companies and also provides legal services for policyholders. Marnin presents seminars relating to insurance coverage matters, primarily focused on claims handling practices and California’s Fair Claims Settlement Practices Regulations.

Professional Negligence: Handles claims involving legal malpractice, broker/agent malpractice, accountant malpractice and miscellaneous E&O matters. Marnin is a Certified Specialist in Legal Malpractice Law by the State Bar of California Board of Specialization.

Personal Injury: Handles claims for personal injuries due to automobile accidents, premises liability, and general negligence.

Business Litigation: Handles contractual claims and disputes, and complex civil litigation.

Risk Management: Assesses clients’ risks/exposure and insurance coverage to protect their interests and dealings with third-parties.

Mediation: Provides services as a mediator to settle insurance disputes, professional liability claims, personal injury matters and business disputes. Marnin has had experience as a Settlement Officer for Los Angeles County Superior Court.

A member of the California Bar since 1992, Marnin received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, with an emphasis in Business, from UCLA in 1989; and his Juris Doctorate degree from Loyola School of Law, Los Angeles, in 1992.

Away from the work, Marnin enjoys working out, volunteering in his community and spending time with his wife and three kids.
